2.2 Pet Profiles

To provide personalized analysis, we collect pet information that you actively provide, including pet name, breed, age, weight, health conditions, allergens, and more.

2.3 Scan Data

When you use the ingredient scanning feature, we collect the ingredient label photos you upload and the AI-generated analysis results, which are used to display history and continuously improve analysis.

2.4 Usage Data

We collect feeding records, water intake records, and other data that you actively log while using the Service, which are used for calorie tracking and profile management.

2.5 Payment Information

Payment information generated when subscribing to Premium is processed by Waffo Pancake. We do not store your full bank card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment credentials. We retain only subscription status and billing records.

2.6 Automatically Collected Information

When you access the Service, we automatically collect technical information such as browser type, device information, access time, and usage logs, which are used for service operation, security protection, and performance optimization.

3. How We Use Information

The information we collect is used for the following purposes:

• Providing core service features such as AI ingredient analysis and nutrition lookup;
• Providing personalized health and feeding recommendations based on your pet profile;
• Account management, subscription billing, and customer support;
• Service improvement, bug fixing, and feature optimization;

We will not use your personal information for any purpose not described in this policy. If we need to change the purpose of use, we will obtain your consent again.

4. Data Storage

4.1 Local Storage

Data generated in guest mode (including pet profiles, scan records, feeding records, etc.) is stored in your local browser's localStorage. This data is not uploaded to the cloud and is not synchronized across devices. Clearing your browser data or switching devices will result in the loss of this data.

4.2 Cloud Storage

Data of logged-in users is stored in a cloud database (Supabase) and can be synchronized across devices. Cloud data is stored in a structured manner and is associated with your account.

4.3 Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the security of your data, including: encrypting data in transit using HTTPS, encrypted database storage, access control, and regular security audits. However, no method of internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee 100% security.

5. Third-Party Services

To provide complete service functionality, we work with the following third-party service providers:

• Supabase: Provides cloud database and authentication services, storing data of logged-in users;
• Waffo Pancake: Provides subscription payment processing services, handling your payment transactions;
• Third-party AI model providers: Provide visual recognition and ingredient analysis capabilities, processing the ingredient label photos you upload.

The above third-party service providers obtain only the minimum data needed to perform their services and are bound by their respective privacy policies. We require all partners to protect your personal information in accordance with applicable law and industry standards.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Service uses necessary functional cookies and local storage to maintain login state, save preferences, and implement core features.

We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising tracking or third-party ad delivery. You may manage or clear cookies through your browser settings, although some features may be limited as a result.

7. Data Retention

• Account data: Retained for the duration of your account. After cancellation, data is retained for 90 days, during which you may resubscribe to restore access;
• Guest data: Stored in the local browser; clearing browser data is considered deletion, and we cannot recover it;
• Logs and backup data: Retained for a reasonable period as needed for security and compliance, then deleted or anonymized after the retention period;
• Data required to be retained by laws and regulations: Retained for the period specified by the applicable laws and regulations.

8. User Rights

Under applicable law, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Right of access: To query the personal information we hold about you;
• Right to export: To export your pet profiles, scan records, and other data;
• Right to rectification: To correct inaccurate or outdated personal information;
• Right to deletion: To request that we delete your account and related data;
